“As of this morning, the Facebook community is now officially 2 billion people! We’re making progress connecting the world, and now let’s bring the world closer together. It’s an honor to be on this journey with you”.
According to TechCrunch, Facebook has 2 Billion monthly active users, YouTube is at second position with 1.5 Billion active users. Facebook Messenger, as well as WhatsApp both, have 1.2 Billion active users. Snapchat has approximately 255 million active users. Instagram which has just joined the race has 700 million active users. Twitter has 328 million active users and WeChat has 899 million active users. This shows that Facebook is leading the Social Media Race.

Facebook also declared further in the blog post, more than 175 million people share a love reaction and on an average more than 200 million people like something on Facebook every day. Also, more than 1 billion people use Groups every month.

Facebook has started 13 years ago and it reached the 1 billion mark just 5 years ago. Facebook has added up to 746 million users from the Asia while 1 billion users are from different parts of the world. However, there are only 41 million active users in US and Canada.
