It get’s crazy:
As of April, Jio has 112.55 million subscribers in India. In the upcoming launch, Jio is trying to convert a large number of 2G feature phone users into 4G.
Reliance Jio is going to subsidize more than 50% of its cost in all the 4G VoLTE feature phones. Jio might have already ordered more than 20 million units of 4G feature phone and the Shipment may begin at the end of this month or at the start of next month.
As per the rumors, Jio 4G feature phone will consist of various versions of Qualcomm and Spreadtrum processors. Other specifications include a 2.4-inch screen, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, 2MP of back camera and VGA front camera, along with Wi-Fi and GPS. Also, all the popular Jio apps will be installed in the device.
Unlike all the Smartphone, Jio 4G feature phone will have limited features. Due to which the phone will not be able to provide a better experience to the customers. On a series note, all the 4G data users consume data in order to watch videos. In the recent few years, video consumption has grown to a very great extent. Thus, a feature phone with data access will not be able to access all the popular apps available in the market.
