1. Jalaj Saxena

Bad luck IPL team player – Jalaj Saxena, an Indian all-rounder is the brother of Jatin Saxena. Both of them are veterans of domestic cricket and have big potential for the game. Jalaj was first selected by the MI in 2013 and remained with the team for 2 seasons, but never got his debut. Then, he was picked by the RCB in 2015, still no chance.

In 2018, Delhi Capitals bought Jalaj Saxena and there as well he remained unlucky. Finally, Jalaj got his debut with Punjab Kings in 2021 where he scored 27 in 3 overs.

2. Ben Cutting
The second on our list of IPL bad luck team players is the Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting. Based on Cutting’s potential, we know you must have been shocked like us. But, it was his luck that never opened doors for him in the IPL.

Ben played his debut in 2014 with Rajasthan Royals but lasted one season only. Then, he played for the SRH team from 2016-to 17 where he made some good numbers in his IPL career. Cutting was even named Player of the Match during the final of IPL 2016.

3. Shahbaz Nadeem 
The next player in our list is one of India’s slow left-arm orthodox bowlers. Nadeem took many wickets for the national and international sides, but his luck was slow at IPL. He is one of the domestic teammates of MS Dhoni whose luck was dark enough to make him shine.

He was first picked by the Delhi Capitals in 2011 and then, by the SRH in 2018. Shahbaz put his heart out in the bowling with an impressive economy rate of 7.56. But, he was never able to mark a permanent spot anywhere.

4. Nathu Singh
One of the ipl most bad luck team players – Though Nathu Singh made heads turn on his debut season, he was still unlucky to last for long. Nathu played for the first time in IPL during 2015-16 for Rajasthan Royals and took 7/87.

On IPL 2017, he was selected by the MI but never played a single match for them. He finally played again in 2017 for Gujarat Lions. Nathu through his abilities showed he’s a good pick for T20. But still, he was unlucky enough to get consistent opportunities in the IPL.

5. Baba Aparajith
Last on our list is one of the most promising young Indian batsmen at that time, the player who has been a part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which bought him in 2013 but he wasn’t able to play for them for 3 seasons. Aparajith was also bought by Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in 2016 but he also failed to play for them for 2 seasons.
