TRAI Launches MyCall App to Allow Subscribers to Rate their Call Experience: In order to solve the issue of Call drop and in order to know the issues faced by various people all over the country Telecom Regulatory Authority of India launched the My Call app which allows all the subscribers to rate the Quality of the Phone call.
According to a report, TRAI said, “The application will help mobile phone users rate their experience about voice call quality in real-time and help Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) gather customer experience data along with network data”.

In this app, as soon as the user ends the call, a Pop-up occur so that user can rate the call based on their overall experience. Here Caller has to provide the rating of the call and mention where the caller has made the call like indoor, outdoor or at the time of traveling.
Apart from this, all the callers can provide extra details such as the noise or audio delay and mark a call drop if they are sure how their call got ended. In the previous year, the government, as well as the regulator, have lower their guard on the problem of call drops and they have held a close eye on all overall call quality via different approaches such as drive tests and automated call system.
Also in 2016, there are a numerous number of cases on the call drop, so the Government and the Regular made an effort together in order to handle the issue by considering various factors that are affecting the Telecom Industry.
TRAI has also updated its Do Not Disturb App by introducing new features such as Intelligent spam detection system and updates about al the actions should be taken within the app. Currently, there is a framework which enables all the subscribers to block all the unnecessary calls from the Telecom Operators. If any Telemarketer tries to contact any such Customer then it may result in a big fine for telemarketers.
TRAI has also introduced a new update to the MySpeed app, using this app all the customers will be able to measure the 3G/4G speed and will be able to send the report to the Regulator.
